JUNIOR COACHING SESSION: after the Miltonrigg Woods Level D event 12-1.30pm.
An opportunity for juniors to take part in the event earlier (optional) with starts from 11am, then analyse your route with other juniors. Juniors will then take part in some training exercises with Christine Kiddier, and joined by planner/organiser Isabel Berry when the event quietens down. The exercises will be more difficult for those more able, easier but more progressive for those wanting to improve, and very easy for any beginners.
Meet in the car park at 12pm prompt and we will walk to a designated location away from the main orienteering event.
There is no charge for this coaching event if you are already a member of Border Liners, but normal prices for the Level D event apply. Junior membership of Border Liners is £1 per annum.
If a parent were able to volunteer with administration of signing juniors in/out of the woods, this would be very welcome. Please let Jane know.
Please inform by email (or on the Facebook junior group) if your junior/s are coming so we know for numbers of maps to be printed.
