Please read this document before attending an orienteering event!
See the British Orienteering website for up to date news and guidance.
Until Covid-19 restrictions are eased, there will be NO NOVICE COURSES at any of our events and the Schools league is on hold.
DUE TO UNCERTAINTY RE THE LIFTING OF COVID LOCKDOWN REGULATIONS, EVENTS ARE PROVISIONAL AND MAY BE CANCELLED AT SHORT NOTICE. WE WOULD HOPE TO RESCHEDULE AT THE FIRST OPPORTUNITY.
We are unable to publish a firm schedule, but hope to resume hosting monthly events as soon as possible. While COVID-19 restrictions are in place, all events will be pre-entry only. Numbers may be limited, NO ENTRY ON THE DAY. Please check regularly for updates as the situation can change at short notice. Visit British Orienteering for up to date news and guidance.
Saturday 20th February 2021, Hackthorpe, Penrith (Level D, Local)
Advance Information: Please check this event page nearer the date for more specific details about the event taking place.
Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the event organiser. Runners must download even if they retire so we can be sure everyone is back and that we do not need to start a search and rescue. Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Non-members and Third Party Liability Insurance: As from 1st January 2020 non-members will be covered by British Orienteering Third Party Liability insurance for all activities/competitions, and the limit of 3 activities/competitions will no longer apply.
