Saturday 28th December 2019, Xmas Charity Event (Level D, Local)

Location: Whittas Park, CA13 9SY [STREETMAP]

Parking: Grid ref NY 206 356, on the layby by the 'Keswick Reach' holiday park. On the A591, 3 miles from the junction with the A595 at Bothel. 9.5 miles from Keswick.

Entries: Registration opens 10.30. Starts (set off on chosen course) between 11am and 12 noon. Courses usually close at 1.30pm - check on the day.

This year, Border Liners charity event will return to "Whittas Park".
As usual it will be a fun event with a twist to make it interesting.
Suitable for orienteers of all ages and abilities.
Good runnable terrain with no bracken or heather.

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the event organiser. Runners must download even if they retire so we can be sure everyone is back and that we do not need to start a search and rescue. Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
 
Non-members and Third Party Liability Insurance: As from 1st January 2020 non-members will be covered by British Orienteering Third Party Liability insurance for all activities/competitions, and the limit of 3 activities/competitions will no longer apply.
